Multi-stage VC fund Finvolve to invest Rs 350 crore in 40-45 high-impact startup

Finvolve, a multi-stage venture capital (VC) fund, has announced plans to invest Rs 300-350 crore in 2025 to support 40-45 high-impact startups.

In 2024, the VC fund deployed Rs 100 crore to accelerate the success of 27 startups.

Backing startups across three critical phases

In line with its investment strategy, the firm will back startups across three critical phases: Seed, Pre-seed, Accelerator, and Growth and Late Stage.

The fund intends to invest in 10-12 Seed Stage startups, 25-30 Pre-seed and Accelerator Stage ventures, and 4-5 Growth & Late Stage companies. Finvolve says this holistic approach aims to fuel groundbreaking innovations, scale businesses, and drive global impact.

Rapid growth of India’s startup ecosystem

“Startups are no longer just alternative ventures; they are evolving into a mainstream asset class with immense potential. Investors recognize the long-term value of startup-driven innovation. At Finvolve, we are proud to be at the forefront of this paradigm shift,” said Apoorva Vora, Co-Founder of Finvolve.

India’s startup ecosystem is witnessing exponential growth, with over 15 lakh registered startups spanning diverse sectors. Recognizing this momentum, Finvolve has identified six high-potential verticals for its 2025 investments, including Robotics, Unmanned and Space (RUMS), Healthcare (Medicine 2.0), Circular Economy, Energy, Mobility & Connectivity, Singularity & AI, and Impact Labs.

The firm said these sectors hold immense promise for industry transformation and societal advancement.

“We are optimistic about the opportunities that 2025 presents. Our investment philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that Indian startups have the power to revolutionize industries and address pressing global challenges. We are committed to supporting visionary founders who are building not just businesses but entire ecosystems,” said Ashish Bhatia, Co-Founder of Finvolve.

Deploying Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore

Through its strategic investment approach, Finvolve plans to deploy Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore per startup via its Accelerator Fund and Rs 4 crore to Rs 8 crore per startup through its Seed Fund.

These investments will provide early-stage startups with critical resources to accelerate their market entry and innovation trajectory.

Some of its recent investments include Indrajal, Zulu Defence, Matter, Lawyered, Sunfox Technologies, and Samosa Party, among other prominent companies.
