Udacity & Microsoft partner to launch machine learning scholarship program
Learning Platform UDC has partnered with Microsoft to offer scholarships to Microsoft Azure for all new machine learning Nanodegree programs.
Udacity is one of the new Udacity Machine Learning Scholarship Program for Microsoft Azure and represents many of Microsoft’s programs for training on Azacity Cloud Services.
The scholarship is awarded in two stages. After considering the applications, 10,000 candidates will be nominated to pursue the first stage scholarship.

The phase begins with a two-month foundation course that introduces machine learning on Azure with minimal code experience. This is a full-fledged course focused on meeting the requirements for a full Nanodegree program, where you will be supported by a community run by Udacity.
The feature of this program is Azure Labs, where students work on projects in the Azure environment within the Udacity classroom.
The top 300 artists in the Foundation course will be awarded scholarships for the Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree Program.
Commenting on the scholarship, Udacity CEO Gabriel DelPorto said, “Artificial intelligence is growing rapidly and high demand AI engineers, especially as more and more companies are moving to the old cloud to create new cloud applications, Wooden’s training program for Azure Machine Learning will expand their skill sets. We would like to partner with Microsoft to professionalize these unique skill sets.
Microsoft Azure Marketing Corporate Vice President Julia White said “AI is making changes in organizations and the demand for data science skills is growing.”
“Through our collaboration with Woodness to offer low-code and advanced courses on Azure Machine Learning, we look forward to expanding our data science expertise to provide invaluable resources to solve business problems.”
As one of the largest technology companies and cloud providers in the world, Microsoft has once again reaffirmed its commitment to providing new learners access to new-age courses so they can prepare for the fast-paced employment scenario of the future.
Both institutions are uniquely positioned to provide students with the machine learning skills they need to succeed in future careers.
Students who aren’t selected for the scholarship will still be able to enroll in the nanodegree program when it is available to the general public.
